Purpose of Scan
This examination involves an assessment of baby’s growth and a wellbeing check. You will be provided with several Black and White Images at the end of the session. All scans viewed on a large TV screen.
What we’ll be checking
This scan session will cover growth measurements, confirmation of heartbeat, amniotic fluid assessment, estimate of baby’s weight, placental site and function assessment. You will also receive a full report to take home.
Stage of Pregnancy
24 weeks - term
Appointment Length.
20 minute appointment. Approx 10 - 12 minutes of scanning time.
